Just a quick message to say Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to all the supporters, collectors and friends that have helped Ghost-Town Studio this past year. I have had a lot of great opportunities to work with amazing clients and I am forever grateful. I also got to meet a lot of awesome people at shows and events and I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement. I do Ghost-Town because I have a passion for design and good music and to be able to have the opportunity to share that with so many people really humbles me. So I thank you. I will raise a toast to you fine folks this New Year’s Eve.
In honor of one of our most treasured holidays Ghost-Town Studio is having a Halloween Special Event Sale! For a limited time you can order the new prints from AC Newman, The Melvins or Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons for the low dough price of $10. ALSO we are debuting our new tee shirt for $10.00 This will be a limited time offer, so get on it now and start the early shopping for the OTHER upcoming holiday.
In other news, we just completed a new colorway of the popular Gourds poster for the November shows. Really happy about how they came out. Great band so it’s been awesome to work with them again. You can find these at their shows this fall.
I just completed a new print for the Street Dogs Wreck the Halls shows. I little nod to the boys home town of Boston and the LACK of Hockey this year. You can get in on the action at their web store here.
The new 7″ art I did for the Street Dogs and Pirates Press is now available in a limited edition.
New stuff on the horizon real soon.
I’ll be in touch.
It’s been a long time coming but Ghost-Town has gotten a new look. A fresh coat of paint if you will. Lots of new images added in the various areas. I want to thank Yosef for his hard work and expertise on bringing this to life. With a new streamlined look and feel, I hope to get updates out more often to keep you on top of all the new things coming out of the studio.
Speaking of which, to start out we have a new release for the Austin TX based band The Gourds with James McCurtry September tour. This poster sold out on tour but we have a small handful available here on the site.
Also a few handful of prints left for the September show with Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons. A brand NEW print for the Melvin’s. it will go on sale right after the show. A print for AC Newman will also be available after the show.
Lots of new things in the works so keep an eye out. Enjoy the Fall and thanks again for the support.
Two designs for Wilco shows that happened this summer, they went quick at the show, so get one of the small handful I have left before it’s to late. Wilco has some friends in Chicago that go by the name JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound. They played the annual Swamp Stomp this year and man did they blow the roof off the joint. Grab a poster and GET the music. There absolutely killer.
I had the great honor of designing a poster for two of country music’s legends. Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson. Nuff’ said.
New Ghost-Town site is in the works. It’s looking good and I’m excited to launch it soon.
Thanks for the support.

Happy New Year. Hope you all kicked it off with a hangover and a renewed sense of hope for 2012.
Thanks again to everyone for their support this past year. I look forward to the new projects, posters and other craziness that will be coming down the line soon.
To close off 2011, I did the debut poster for new super group of sorts: the DIAMOND RUGS (featuring members of Deer Tick, Black Lips, Dead Confederate, Los Lobos, and Six Finger Satellite). This was a small run and sold at the show but I have a few copies left aside for those that are interested. Keep an eye out for their debut record coming out sometime this year. With that line up it should be pretty damn good.
This month we did the official record release poster design for Providence, RI’s own Deer Tick. Most of the prints sold at the show, but I saved a few for this ol’ web store. So pick one up quick if you’re interested. They will go fast.
I also worked on an East Coast Tour poster for the Austin, TX based band The Gourds. Again, on sale throughout their tour but I have a few put aside.
A large portion of the last month was spent on the design and layout for the new Mighty Mighty Bosstones record. I got to work with an incredible Illustrator, and Dicky Barret himself oversaw the whole project. This one was a labor of love and it took many man hours for it to come together. If you’re a fan of their music you will really appreciate this release both visually and musically. Should be out in time for their annual Home Town Throw Down. I worked up the art and design this year and there will be a limited edition screenprint for sale at all the shows.
I am VERY happy to have gotten my copy of the book I am in, Gig Posters Vol 2. It’s fantastic in every way. Do yourself a favor and pick one up. You won’t regret it. Comes out Nov 1st, so get a copy at your local book store, on Amazon, or directly at gigposters.com for specials and discounts.
Ghost-Town Studio is proud to be curating an art exhibition “A Dollar and a Dream” at Machines with Magnets gallery in lovely Pawtucket, RI. The opening is on November 12. Artists include: Yours truly, Ty Paulhus, William Schaff, Johnathan Wiseheart, Darren Johnson, and Alexander Carlisle. Playing at the opening will be Knife Party, Sweet Love and Black Oil Incinerator.
Upcoming in the next two months…
Hello All, Hope you’re enjoying the last days of the quickly fading summer. It’s a bummer but I do love the fall — Halloween, cider, pumpkins, football, tons of bands on tour &mdash I’m looking on the bright side. So up right now for your purchasing pleasure is a brand new poster for Gillian Welch in Louisville, KY. I have only a small amount left, as most of the run went to the show. Also, if you haven’t gotten the new record “The Harrow & The Harvest,” I highly recommend it. One of the top ten records of the year in my opinion, with amazing art by John Dyer Baizley. In the coming weeks I have a ton of projects going on, including working on a big show for November. I’ll fill you in on the next blast. In the mean time, I HIGHLY recommend getting GIGPOSTERS Vol 2. I am honored to be featured in this book with several other amazing artists from around the world. If you have Vol 1 from a few years back, then you already know how awesome it’s going to be. It comes out in early November but you can pre-order right now at www.gigposters.com/book. Each pre-order will receive 1 of 4 FREE 10″x13″ limited-edition art prints by Landland. Not a bad deal.
UPDATE: THE WILCO POSTERS ARE SOLD OUT. Hi All, Hope you’re having a good summer so far. We wanted to drop a quick note to let you know we have a very SMALL handful of Wilco’s Solid Sound posters available for sale RIGHT NOW! They sold out within ten minutes at the show, so this is your last chance to get your hands on this collectors item. They were screen printed on-site at MASS MoCA during the festival over the course of three days. On a completely different tip we have a few copies of the latest poster we did for Canadian punk heroes F*$#ed Up. Get their new record, it’s on my top ten of 2011 so far. Next on the agenda is a limited edition screen print for our pals putting on this year’s Swamp Stomp. It will be available at the show. If you’re in New England, I highly recommend taking the time to go to this. I’m sure it will be a barn burner as always.
