What's up Doc? Elmer Fudd Coming to ER ![]() NBC and Warner Brothers have confirmed that animated actor Elmer Fudd just wrapped up filming two episodes of ER slated to air later this season. Sources say bringing on the star took some "strong negotiations," but after working out the pay scale, screen time, and "star treatment" Fudd finally signed on. "This will be one of ER's most celebrated guest stars yet," says producer Wendy Spence Rosato. The show's viewer ship has been down a little this season so we plan on "bringing the regular viewers back along with new ones." "I couldn't be happier!" said ER's creator Michael Crichton in an interview on Tuesday. "I have been a huge Fudd fan for years, and we have been trying to get him on the set for some time, we have two big episodes written around his character Dr. Rosenring. "It was so funny to hear Elmer introduce himself as 'Dr. Wosenwing,'" laughs Crichton. "I think our audience will really enjoy this "unique surgeon." Fudd has been very busy this year with his recent cameo on the WB's Gilmore Girls and staring on VH1's The Surreal Life. Unfortunately Mr. Fudd left after the fourth episode do to some back stabbing efforts made by the over dramatic Charo. Fudd will also be featured on an upcoming episode of MTV's Cribs where a camera crew walks through the homes of celebrities. It's reported that Mr. Fudd lives in a swank Beverly Hills estate and sports one of the largest collections of "pimp rides" in North America including a tricked out school bus. |
